I feel so much like spoiling my piggies today.

I have been with Milhaven GPR on a rescue mission and believe me, the conditions were horrendous! We got out 18 piggies, 3 girls were heavily pregnant, and all (male and female) were running around freely in a wonderful dark, filthy and falling down cellar. There were no cages, hay, food or water...no lighting, no flooring...and about 40 years worth of dirt, poop and god knows what else.

I simply cannot explain the conditions these piggies were living in. We were crawling around on hands and knees elbow deep in filth, torch in hand, to find as many piggies as possible. The piggies were in a bit of a bad way, hair loss/mites and malnourished, but thankfully safe now. With Jo's expert care, I'm sure they will be soon back on their feet.

They are mostly aby's.

It makes me think that my own piggies are lucky.

Oh that is awful I hope they all recover well, give yourself a pat on the back for your good work

how on earth do people let their animals get in that state? It is just beyond belief....

But the satisfaction you must feel now knowing they are in clean cages with fresh food and water. x

That's terrible! :0 I'm so glad you were able to rescue them. Poor babies. :(

Sounds utterly grim. Glad you were there to help Milhaven get them all out of there. Hope there are not too many babies to come:(
Hope they get back to full health soon. thank you to all you rescuers.
