What a weird day....

On placement at the moment so as i left the school i checked my mobile. i had a text from a friend i hadnt heard frm 4 a while. she asked me if i would take on a guinea plus cage. i text back of course and she told me the man had bought it for his 9 year old and he was terrorfied of it! he hasnt been handled in a while! hes a boar around 6 months and at the moment is called sparky though i would like to change his name to Ianto so will do that asap. £20 for the cage so thought that was pretty good. dont even no what he looks like but the man said that if he couldnt rehome him this weekend then he would just get rid of him by puttin him to sleep! I'm like WOH ill take him! i have one last space in teh shed for a cage so at the moment its ok. Mum made me agree that i pay for vets bills which is ok cos i do it already! so tomorrow at 10 I'm going to pick him up from my friends house! wooop! :D I'm so excited! hehe but why do people buy these animals when they dont want them! >:( anyways cant wait to see him! x

Picked him up yesterday at 10:30, hes a right little character and there is no way hes as old as i was told! he looks a bit like a black dutch rabbit wit the markings and a little ginger patch on one leg. hes teeny and very bony didnt even no what a carrot was! he has his rumble and his chatter so he must be reaching maturity. when i saw the box he was in i just thought TYPICAL! it was a PAH carry case! and apparantly this little chap wat literally just fed and watered no contact! you can clearly see that cos he jumps nad wriggles. once hes out he likes the attention but catchin him is a pain! i didnt buy the cage as it was way to small there was no point wasting the money! He is called Ianto and hes just the most adorable little thing ever. no popcorning as yet but you can tell hes happy. how that child was scared by him i dont no its strange. xx ps will post pics asap, took loads yesterday so need to get a film done and them scanned in. xx

Ianto is Welsh and pronounced Yan-toe! incase anyone didnt no because my friend thought it was Lantern! lol (Women i work with almost confirmed it nad she was born in Cardiff) His name came from TORCHWOOD a show i am BIG FAN of! and because I'm planning on moving ot Cardiff next year, I'm a massive torchwood and Dr who fan, didnt want to call him Dr, and Jack and Owen i didnt think stood out! Plus... all my pigs apart from Harry and Maria have unusual names and its cute! hehe! when I'm with him say "Ianto dw I" which is I am Ianto in welsh hehe (Learning it because most child care jobs need it there) xx
