Plus a run cannot be used unless it is dry, sunny and the ground warm enough. This means they can only use them in summer.

Having a run doesnt make any difference - the hutch is still too small.
They need an appropriately sized hutch/living space measuring ideally 150x60cm plus an additional run space.

There are lots of things for sale in pet shops which are not suitable
Maybe I shouldn’t of sent the pic of the hutch To u then

This is the size of cage my Guinea Pigs are in at the moment

This is also too small

Their cage isn’t big enough whether you sent the picture or not.
The only difference would have been that you wouldn’t have known the cage didnt meet welfare requirements. Now you do know, you have the benefit to rectify the situation to provide the piggies with the space they require

The lady in the shop said the cage I bout was the recommended size for 2

It’s a figure of speech. It means that you are unhappy with what we are saying because you don’t like the advice we are giving you. It doesn’t mean we don’t want to help. Nor does it equate to abuse.
I’m not unhappy . At the time of purchasing my guinea pigs I was going bye the advise the pet store was giving me . Where are u from

No, the recommended size is 150x60cm.
The minimum size, ie the smallest they should be in is 120x60cm internal. The cage you have is 120x50cm external which means internal is probably more like 110-115x40cm which is far far too small.

You’ve received nothing but help and advice despite the fact that you’ve been asking the same questions on multiple threads. You mention your parents a lot, I’m starting to think you’re not old enough to be on this forum

I’m just saying it wouldn’t hurt to show the people going out of their way to help you some respect. This isn’t their job, people contribute to this forum willingly out of the kindness of their hearts. A fair few people I know in life are on the autistic spectrum but they do not use it in order to cause disruption when they receive answers and help they’re not happy with. I too am walking away from this thread

Maybe I should leave the forum then with all the abuse your giving me
My moderator is giving you sound advice from many years of experience, you have joined our forum to ask advice. You have had your repetitive questions answered many times. If you continue to show disdain towards my staff, I will have no alternative but to make your short absence a permanent one. I am a patient man but you are testing it to its limit. Whilst you are on this short break, take time to reflect on your actions, and come back with a better attitude. Our members guinea pig experience spans collectively over many many years. So when they give the correct advice - accept it gracefully. Now I'm going back to sleep as I've had a hard shift on the motorway. :twist:

And let’s close this thread for the time being, while everything cools
You will be able to post on the forum in 24hrs, a little time out is needed really for all here. There are no hard feelings, people are politely trying to help and Vicki has certainly not been abusive.
