Hi, I lost one of my guineas at Christmas and am left with just one of 3 sisters. I said I wasn't having any more but think now it may be best to get her a friend, She is about 5 and seems happy enough, eats well and enjoys my company but I know she would prefer another guinea.... am I better getting an older guinea or a baby and what is best way to bond them, thank you

Hi Kath - I don' think age is the issue - not all Guinea Pigs get on so, it's a case of finding a compatible companion. I notice is a previous thread that you got your Guinea Pigs from a rescue - so you are familiar with some of the benefits of rehoming from a rescue .

Many rescues offer a bonding service - to ensure you get a compatible companion .
