I’ll go first!

While Lily happily eats everything in sight, Rosie is the pickiest pigwig I’ve ever had. She hates apples, blueberries, strawberries, celery, she tolerates cucumber, but only eats the skin, the rest she leaves behind for Lily to scavenge.

Carrot, although she doesn’t get much of it, is her favourite. It was the only veg she would eat in the beginning, I think it’s because it was the only fresh thing she got in her previous home.

Your turn!

Hamish is a bit of a food hoover, but the one time I offered a corn on the cob he ran away!
Hector is not keen on pepper(any colour), he will sniff it multiple times in hope, that it will magically become something else I suspect!
Hector used to love apple, but recently one bite and he’s done.

Even Betsy won't eat dried parsnip. I discovered it was Pretty Patsy 🌈 that hoovered them up after she had gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Fortunately, I only have a bit left. I keep trying to hide it in the forage they get every day now the temperature has gone down in the garage but it's not working they still won't touch it. Betsy will usually eat anything starting F ending in D with OO in the middle.

My Jasper loves dried mint but you offer him a fresh bit and he runs for the hills! :))
Everyone blooming hates raspberries! It was the same with strawberries when RB Jess was around (who did the ‘reverse run’ when she sniffed them!) but since she went to the Bridge the Porky Pair have decided they absolutely love them now like the other two do!

The only fruits my guys will eat is strawberry and grapes. Veggie wise, courgette is the only thing I can think of that they won't eat. I'm pretty lucky if I'm honest.

This seems to be a recurring theme to this thread! Try peeling it. When I had my 5 piggies they would only eat courgette peeled. When :yikes: :yikes: DA BOSS :yikes: :yikes: Velvet went to the Rainbow Bridge just over 2 years ago they refused to eat it cos she wasn't around to show them it was safe.

Its strange isn't it. They eat cucumber no issues and I don't peel that. With courgette they take a few bites and then leave it

Another vote for the dreaded courgette!
Pedro and Basil won't touch berries- tried rasp, straw and black varieties but they're all evil according to them🤢 They backed away from the pumpkin this week too after me thinking it would be a nice seasonal treat.
They're like a couple of old stick in the muds, so once again the shopping list has cucumber, lettuce, peppers and a little bit of celery.....

Betty and Winnie will eat pretty much anything apart from celery. They prefer the skin of cucumber to the inside bit (Betty picks a piece of cucumber up, chews off all the skin and drops drop a soggy blob back on your hand and looks up at you for something better). She’ll come back to the soggy blob eventually but only when everything else is gone. They may be a bit spoilt…

Oh yes, I forgot courgette! Buy it for the catfish and snails but a big no-no for the pigs here as well (and my RB pigs too!)!
Don’t blame them though!

No pig here will eat courgette or parsnip. I’m with them on the parsnip (vile things) but courgette is delicious.

Banana is a bit like marmite here. Ralph literally backs away from it, shaking the scent of it out of his nostrils. I can almost hear his cries of “oh what torture is this?”.

Another vote against courgette here. Even Biscuit who normally eats anything I give her is a bit cautious but Toffee won't go near it. Toffee is much more picky than Biscuit in general. He won't eat green beans - takes one away and leaves it on the floor with teeth marks on it until Biscuit finds it and finishes it off. And once I tried them with a bit of orange - Toffee wouldn't touch it!

Kevin and Perry also dislike courgette - I've given it to them a few times and every time I find it buried in the depths of their bedding. They are not keen on fruit either, which surprised me - strawberries and blueberries are at the top of the reject list. They also won't eat broccoli that isn't at the peak of freshness, if there's the slightest hint of it going a bit soft they won't eat it. I put it down to them being fussy teenagers but reading other answers it seems they are quite normal! 🥦🥒

Hadley would only eat the skin off the cucumbers. She would chew them in a circle and then leave the flesh/seeds in the middle behind. She taught this to Leela, who taught it to Tomie, so her legacy of wasting most of the cucumbers lives on.

Not a piggie, but my two current hamsters not only won't eat peanuts, they are frankly offended by peanuts. One tries to swat them away with her paw while turning her face away like she's not even willing to look!
