Hi all,

I'm a brand spanking new Guinea Pig owner. Lots of questions I'm sure but one in particular that's driving me crackers.

In my cage, I got a plastic hay rack (ferplast). On each of the 2 corners I have noticed that it clips shut at the bottom and is able to unclip and bend open.

This is the cage I bought: Rabbit 120 Guinea Pig and Dwarf Rabbit Cage | Pets At Home and although you cannot see the rack very well, it's just a standard ferplast one.

Probably nothing but if anyone can tell me why it does this that would help me out :-)

Thanks
Suz

I don't know why it's bugging me so much ha! My colleague is going to have a look at hers tonight for her rabbit. I will try to take a pic of it tonight and post it up on here

Welcome to the forum :) Can't help with the query though - sorry!

Be lovely to hear lots more about your piggies and see some photos of them.

They are only babies, we have Axel (named after Axel Rose as he has a punk rock hairstyle) and Gingie. They are both approx. 10 weeks old. I'm quite excited today as last night whilst playing with them, and by playing I mean trying my best not to scare the life out of them with every little move I make, I started stroking them both and Gingie started purring and then fell asleep :-) It felt good knowing that he was relaxed enough to sleep whilst I was stroking him. Gingie in particular has been quite nervous so it was a big step with him !
