The thing is the girls have to be in season when they are put with boars so for 10 minutes I would doubt unless they were in season that they are pregnant.

Sometimes you know when they are in season because they act boarish! They rumble and mount. I would still weigh every other day and see what happens, it is a waiting game.

Two of my boars got in with two of my sows for 17 hours maximum last year in my shed! Nothing came of it, but I was convinced they were pregnant for so long! I now have all my pigs in cages, C&C won't stop randy boars! rolleyes

LOL! I can never stop giggling over my girl piggies when they're in season. so boarish! especially Bethany, she's still so tiny so it's funny watching her trying to mount my bigger girls!
 
It's quite unlikely, because when I bought my first guinea pig, Poppy from Pets At Home, they placed her in the wrong section and instead they put her in with all the boars and I would say she was about 2 months old when we got her and luckily she wasn't pregnant.
 
Sometimes you can notice a pinkish discharge when in heat but with my 6 I've never noticed it at all. It seems quite rare. The white discharge is a kind of plug once the boar has done the deed and been successful. Having never breed or had accidents with it I'm not 100% hopefully something with more knowledge can advise. :)
 
Ive never noticed a discharge from any of my girls when they are on heat, just the usual rumbling and mounting and the other guinea they live with running around squealing in a bad mood lol

I think the white plug is hard and waxy from what I remeber reading.. not too sure though, someone with more experience in pregnant sows will know more.
 
If the sows were fighting him off, it's unlikely they were in season and therefore can't be pregnant. Sows will only really let a boar mount them if they are in season. It's pretty unlikely but keep a close eye on them. How long ago did this happen?
 
Its quite unlikely as one of my friends got a boy and a girl by accident from pets at home and nothing happened. We didn't even notice until sometime after the girl passed away. I do believe abortion in guinea pigs is possible but very expensive. I hope nothing has come of it and that everything turns out ok. :)
 
Probably he was firing blanks for want of a better expression...lol or the sow was infertile. I've heard of this before, actually when I picked up Radley from a free ads he was put in with a sow as one of the older boars didn't get any of the girls pregnant so they thought that guinea pigs didn't mate easily. They end up with 20 guinea pigs! :{
 
The white discharge was not very liquid like, doesn't sound good! It happened on Friday so the 31st of October. Only one of the girls had the discharge.
