I can't seem to find a list of symptoms for Pyometra in Guinea Pigs anywhere, I was hoping someone here will know? If you've experienced this, please go into detail about what happened. Thanks!
One of my pigs had it once. When I picked her up she had this blackish(blood) green goopy discharge. She didn't show any other symptoms but I'm sure there must be some.
I think it depends if it is open or closed Pyometra. I think there is discharge with open but you can't see it if it is closed. It can make them very unwell so I would expect them to be off their food and sitting fluffed up like when they are in pain. My Maud had it but it was tied in with chronic bladder issues and she was spayed straight away. It was difficult to tell what symptoms were related to which condition.
