What are your guinea pigs favourite thing to eat ?

Pepsi pretty muchs loves anything but adores dandelions, carrot and romaine lettuce :)) she is even prepared to heve her nails cut so long as she can chew on some of her favs in the process

Fidget although I haven't had him all that long isn't as enthusiastic as pepsi about eating his veggies but loves dandelions, apples (red), carrots and cucumber.
It is so funny to see him eating a slice of cucumber he eats the outer skin first and looks like a little can opener as he nibbles the edge :(|)


Both of them adore hay though and popcorn like crazy when they hear the hay tub lid ( the box I use to transport the hay from the bale in the garage to the piggy room ) drool
 
All of mine love parsley, coriander, dandelions and grass the most. Oreo and Rosie, who I've only had for a few weeks & who I think weren't fed much fresh food (or at least not much variety) at their old home are also loving kale and carrots. I usually feed a selection from kale, cucumber, carrots, peppers, tomatoes and romaine lettuce, with the herbs, apple and melon as treats (couple of times a week).

Grass!

As Rodney was a house pig and my garden is decking and stone, I used to go and pick him bags and bags of grass and whenever my parents visited they used to bring some too.

The sound of him purring with contentment when he stuck his head into it, was so satisfying. He would eat it so fast it was like he was sucking it up! :))

Second to that was cucumber, then banana and french beans.

WHen my parents were staying with me, my dad was sat on the couch eating a banana. Rodney was asleep in his sleeping bag under the table, and he got a whiff of the banana so he came out ran over to my dad and was practically climbing up his leg to get some :)) it was so funny my dad had to save him a bit
 
Chirpy will eat just about anything but her faves are carrots lettuce grass and berries

Patches faves are grass lettuce red peper and carrots
 
Cookie and Snowdrop are both HUGE fans of baby corns. That and the lettuce is the first to go if its in their food bowl. Followed closely by cucumber. After that - they pretty much turn their nose up at anything else!

My new baby Daisy likes peppers on top of those things, so at least she gets a bit more variety!

All 3 of my girls HATE carrot! Find it so so odd lol.
 
All my boys go mad for lettuce leaves, especially home grown ones! As well as cucumber, coriander, and bean sprouts.
 
Nushka, my top piggie is parsley, she is happy whenever she has that and it just GOES. Meg, Nushka's sister is brocolli and cucumber and Daisy and Poppy (my babies) i don't know atm, they all seem to like carrot, dill, celery, pepper, basil, apple, strawberry's etc though.
 
My boys both love and adore their hay. Grass is another favourite.

Ludwig loves to eat cucumber. He, as someone else mentioned spins it around in his mouth and eats off the skin first and then the inner. He also runs up to the edge of the cage and stares at you if you are eating an apple, trying to get to it.

Gilbert adores his carrots. He also likes cucumber and he'll have a bite occasionally of apple.
