If she has whirls/rosettes on the back, she is a peruvian, if she only has a whirl on the top of her head, she's a coronet.

Whatever she is, she's simply stunning! Has she got a name yet?

Looks like a Peruvian to me! Is she HUGE or is the person in the pic tiny? :))

think the person is holding her forward? my mum did it holding me as a baby and it made me look like a had a huge head on the photos! rolleyes:))

gorgeous piggy! x)

Not well up on breeds like everyone else but she is GORGEOUS! xoxo

Yes, she is huge! Not fat, just has a lot of hair:(|) She does indeed have 2 rosettes, so perhaps she is a peruvian then! The lady who rescued her has been calling her Amy so I think I will stick with that. Does anyone know a way to tell how old she could be? The lady reckoned she is about two, but is there a way to confirm it?

It is very difficult to tell an adult piggy's age. Eventually, the toenails thicken up and twist more, the older a piggy gets; but some are born with with getting twistier nails earlier than others.

I thought that Amy was looking a bit more peru than coronet (my two longhaired piggies are coronets). But she is certainly a BIG lady!
