what brush do you use?

i have a long haired piggie and it would appear my brushing skills are NOT good so was wondering if i was using the correct brush

i have one with two sides one with long bristle with bobbles on the end like you get on our hair brushes the other side has lots of bristles like the end of a sweeping brush this is the side i use the other side makes her jump around

what do you use?

she doesnt like being brushed which doesnt help the situation she turns the air blue :a19:

We used to use a big tooth comb with our long haired girlie. Always hold the fur near the skin as you brush so you don't pull the fur and hurt piggie. Another tip is keep the bum fur trimmed short so it doesn't get matted.

yeah a wide toothed comb is a good idea as it gets the tangles out but without tugging too much.

Might be worth getting advice from a groomer on brushes as hair types need different things. I have a shedding blade and another comb too for my long haired boy where as I use a more standard wire brush with bobbles on for my rexes...

I use a baby brush and comb - I do keep her hair trimmed quite short though.
