Have you tried all the veg out there? There are loads of different veggies you could try them with, they can also have a wide range of plants and offering different types of hay can provide interest.

This thread may be of use although some of the plants may be different to what you have in California - http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/...veg-and-fruit-list-with-vitamin-c-grading.42/

Also, bread is unsuitable for guineas.

Wow! Just read the thread and it helped alot! Going to the market right now to go try out celery. Thanks so much!

They cannot eat bread. Some flowers are safe but others are not so you would need to look each one up.

We feed ours beans, peppers along with their hay and nuggets. Every now and again we try something new in order to give them variety but they're just not interested. Maybe they don't get bored of having the same thing every day like we do and although they always seem very interested when we have pizza or curry, we remind them that they are strict gluten-free wheat-free vegans ;)

Not saying that anyone would try to feed them pizza or curry obvs.

They love dandelions I grow them for them in a pot outside in summer. alsi I grow parsley basil and mint. burgess do paper rolls that look like tubes with dried mint they go down well also.

For animals that cant eat bread, they chase the birds away to try and get to the bread on the lawn! I have to make sure they can't get to it! :lol!:
