Not ovarian cysts, but external ones? I know they get filled with a horribly cheesy pus type stuff () so i'm wondering if it's a reaction to infection or something? Any help appreciated :3
Do you mean epidermoid cysts? They are caused when the skin isn't shed properly but instead moves deeper within the epidermal layers. The cytsts form when these skin cells began to build up, the keratin (which is a protein) is secreted inside the build up and forms the icky yellow stuff. Generally speaking these cysts develop when there is damage to the oil gland or hair follicle.
Awesome, thank you! Another quick Q - what causes mammary tumors? i know they aren't all cancerous, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere I'm guessing hormonal though!
