Just because I think one of mine may have done some very light orange wee.

They had strawberry tops last night and they ate them. I have no idea who it is as there are 6 in together.

So does strawberry stain wee?

Thanks!

Some stains can be caused by the food; sometimes the wee oxidises very quickly and strongly, i.e. it come clear out of the body, but turns orange/rusty when exposed to the air.

Okay thanks. Fingers crossed as off on holiday Saturday so hope nothings up with anyone.

Additives in dried food can colour urine. Beetroot can also have the same effect.
Normal urine is a milky white colour

I am racking my brains as I am sure I have heard that some pigs have had slightly discoloured urine after eating strawberries - but it's a distant memory so don't rely on it!

Carrots can cause orangey pee in some pigs too, as can red pepper.
