Hamsters teeth are supposed to be yellow/orange, and white means they are ill. Both my piggies have white/light cream colour teeth and I'm worried that it's the same as hamsters? Can anyone help? Should piggies have yellow teeth like hamsters or white teeth? Mine are white and I'm very worried :/

Not sure on the facts but all of my piggies have rather White teeth..... So I am hoping this is right.

@furryfriends Excellent Adventure Sanctuary Have tagged Debbie in as there is no-one with more experience in teeth

Thank you, I'll know for future!

Hope so! :)

Healthy piggy teeth are white. When there is infection in the tooth root they can look rather discoloured, mainly brown.

Thanks for your reply. Mine are white so I'm glad that is how it should be! :)

My piggies seem to be pretty calm. Plus they open they're mouth while they're eating some pepper when they are giving me cuddles! Good luck checking vimto's teeth! If your not back on the forum we will know you've been eaten by a guinea pig who thinks he is a lion! :raz:
