Hi. 2 days ago I noticed my female guinea pig had a white flake piece in her private area. I removed it with a towel that day. The next day it came back, I removed it again and it came back again today. It also has a bad smell. Every thing else with her is normal. If anyone has an idea of what it could be that would be great thank you IMG_8494.webp

It can be a bit of excreted calcium. Is the urine very smelly and/or milky white? Very strongly and stale smelling urine is a sign of infection, the latter is excess calcium that is excreted the normal way.

To be honest, just a little flake like that is not worrying in itself, only if calcium pees are a daily or near daily occurrance, in which case you want check on your diet.

But if you feel that a vet check will allay your worries, then please have your girl seen!
