What could Calm her down

Heidi seemed to be going a bit mental today squeaking extremely loudly I was wondering what I could do to calm her down, my voice seems to calm her down. She seemed to go mental when she went into the more open part of the cage with less things to hide under... Is this normal? I don't want her to be stressed out
 
It could be that she senses/smells Toby nearby...they have an amazing sense of smell and hearing!
 
I think it's quite normal for them to squeak loudly - I have 3 babies in the shed that squeak for England when you enter the shed.:)) My inside piggies do the same when I open the fridge door.rolleyes
 
mine sometimes have mad days, running around all day and squeaking, but then they go back to normal. see how she is in the morning.
 
Max squeaks constantly,i mean constantly, he never stops! he was going mad this evening! he does it mostly when hes apart from Scruffy and hes calling out for him.

I wouldnt worry bout it, i love them squeaking, i wouldnt want them to quieten down!

Yes I love their squeaks too - when I go in the shed I am greeted by 6 lots of squeaks with the baby piggies squeaking the loudest.:(|)

My guinea pig Brandy used to squeak squeak squeak! when you opened the fridge door and the back or front door because she always thought we were getting grass/dandelions lol
She used to have days when she used to never shut up!

Lol she squeaks extremely loudly though like she's in distress, and then just does normal piggy squeaks which I dont mind
 
Junior squeaked constantly, when I was around or he heard a noise to make him think that I was around, after I parted him from mum and he was living alone for a week or so while I was deciding how best to house him.

Then I put him with Shaun and he is alot quieter now ... well, until it is feed time! :))
