I made this account just for this. My brothers guinea pig of about one year died just a few minutes ago. Just yesterday she was eating and drinking fine. This afternoon one of her eyes was crusted shut but after a few minutes of dabbing it with a wet cloth it opened back up. We then noticed her having a little trouble walking. She wouldnt accept any food/ hay from us. Fast foward about five hours and she died in my moms lap. I'm trying to find out what could have caused this for closure for my brother and sister. Piggy did also have one other pig living with her but she is fine also. Could it be a desease and should we remove the other pig from the enclosure.

So sorry that your piggy died. It sounds like an infectious illness, respiratory problems can kill piggies very quickly, in a young pig an underlying heart problem is a possibility.
Keep a close eye on the other piggy, no need to remove them from their home. Any signs of illness see a vet straight away if you can.
And think about getting a new friend from a reputable rescue for your bereaved piggy in due course.

Sadly guinea pigs bought from a pet shop are usually just bred for numbers not health or well being. I've had 1 or 2 over the years that were relatively young but died suddenly. Probably from heart attack or stroke. We don't know why and probably never will but take comfort in the fact that there is probably little you could have done to avoid it.

Sending our love. Do consider getting your remaining piggy a friend in due course. I know first hand how good guinea pigs are at hiding how lonely they are.

We got her not from a big chain pet store but from our local fish store. They had a private little area just for rodents and birds. The same time we bought our two, a family friend also bought two for his kids. Both are still doing good today.

Thanks everyone for all your help and support. I dont think we will ever truly know what happend but you were all very helpful

Unfortunately illnesses can kill guinea pigs very quickly. Most of my pigs who have passed away have gone from seemingly fine to passing away within 12 to 24 hours. Crusty eyes would make me query some sort of upper respiratory infection, which can kill very quickly, even with treatment. I would definitely clean out the enclosure thoroughly to try to disinfect and keep an eye on your remaining guinea pig. I know it's difficult right now with the pandemic, but it would be worth a vet call to see if they can recommend anything preventative for your remaining pig who may have been exposed.
