Saw this near his tummy and he keeps on scratching it. Any idea what this could be? :(

Hi and welcome

Unfortunately, only a hands-on vet diagnosis can give you the result. We cannot call it from your picture and our guesses may easily be wrong.

Here is our information on the most common problems in guinea pigs (for the skin, these are highly contagious species jumping fungal ringworm; mange or hay mites).

Please do not treat on spec with low dosed pet shop products that at the best temporarily suppress symptom but do not heal. Also be aware that a fungal skin infection and skin parasites need different treatment. We have too often seen DIY home treatment end with a tragedy after weeks or months of needless suffering.

Here is more information, including your customer rights re. vet care in newly bought guinea pigs: New Guinea Pig Problems: Sexing & Pregnancy; URI, Ringworm & Parasites; Vet Checks & Customer Rights
