I'm wondering what day we should have Pigmas with piggy presents and a piggy party... maybe Saturday, before everything starts being all about the hooman family? Does anyone else have a separate Pigmas day?

Maybe it could be a 3 day thing that people fit in as and when they can :)

I’m having a pigmess morning on Christmas Day before we head to my mum and dads for dinner. They only live about 1.5 miles down the road but my dad has offered to pick us up and then we’ll walk home at night time. We have a bottle of Prosecco to have a cheeky glass for breakfast as last year was our turn to Nottingham and it’s so hectic there as we have to up early to go round to my sister in-laws so my in-laws can see their grandchildren with their presents and then we all go back to the in-laws house for dinner and it’s just.. well... hectic

This is the first year in the last 16 that I don't have to "do" Christmas Day. Normally the morning of Christmas Eve is spent frantically preparing all the veg so that I can be down my local for midday ordering a meal before everyone else comes in at 1 o'clock. For the last few years I have had 11 to cater for:yikes:. Christmas Day is going to be my Sister-in-Law's reponsibility this year. I just need to sit down and watch it all happen around me. No drinking alcoholic beverages though as they don't drink in front of the children so I respect the rules of their house.

If I celebrated Pigmas here my OH would think I had completely lost the plot!

I'm away until the 27th so I will have a pigmas day on the 28th. It will be a massive fest of complete cage cleans, cuddles and piggie washing. The piggies will get lots of treats as I will need to bribe them to love me again after leaving them to the other slave for 5 days. The other slave spoils them when I'm not here so they sulk when I get back.

Mine knows I've lost the plot anyway :nod:XD:bronco::help:

Piggy daddy is as excited about our first Pigmas as I am, we are going to extend the cage and open a bag of expensive hay and give the piggies a haycube and a carrot cottage and new Christmas fleecy tubes... it will definitely be the highlight of a prolonged dutiful season of family commitments!
