What do you love about being a guinea pig owner?

It's pretty obvious everyone here loves their pigs, but what are the little things that make it all worthwhile for you?
Mine are-

- The smell of fresh hay and cucumber; reminds me of the first pigs I ever owned :)
- Listening to them crunching veggies in the morning
- When you build them an awesome run and they spend hours popcorning in it!
- Watching TV with a snoozing pig on your lap
- The "good morning" wheeks and the faces peering out of the cage whenever you go to them :)

- I love the way they wheek in the morning when they realise you have the breakfast :(|)
- I love it when you put them into a clean hutch with bundles of hay and they race about like nutters!
- I love the cuddles and the way Paris licks my face :(|)
- I love it when you put them out for the first time in spring on the lovely fresh grass :)

- I love when they are doing something bad and you shout there name they come running over wheeking like it's veggies time.
-How they run up to the cage to see if you have something for them.
-How they interact with one another, I could watch them for hours.
-How they run off with there favourite veggie just incase someone tries to steel it.
-When they are sprawled out, sleeping and so relaxed it is the cutest thing.
-Hay!

Everything they are so cute!
 
i love the piggie kisses i get from zia and occasionaly i get kisses from poppy which are even more special as she doesnt give them very often :(|)
i also love everything else about them too and love the way they enjoy there new treats and beds ect x)
 
I love the wheeks when I am chopping veg.

I love them popcorning around my hands when I am sweeping the cage when normally they won't come near me unless there is a brush in my hand.

I love kissing them and smelling cucumber round their faces. drool

I love it when they fall asleep on their armchairs.

I love seeing them pulling Parsley out of each others mouths when there is more in the dish. :))

I love the way Hoggle goes into the bed to tell Ludo something new has been put in the cage then he comes running out.

I could go on forever! :))
 
I love it when they're wheeking and you can see their little jaws wiggling from side to side...
I love hearing their little conversations, I often wonder if they're talking about me...
I love their gratitude over every plastic bag noise and then the mass munching noise whilst they chew something they love to eat...
I love watching them sleep...
I love it when they're fast asleep, then watching them wake up, yawn and streeeetchhhhh...
I love them just knowing when I need cheering up...
I love that they're always so happy...
I love it when they all follow one another in a little line...
I love their little paws and how they fit round your finger just right when you're holding them, just like they're holding your hand...
I love it when one minute they seem to be bickering, then the next they're all snuggled up to each other...
I love the way they all have such different personalities, I love getting to know them and their dislikes...
I love their expressions, and how they let you know they don't want a head stroke just now (by throwing their head up)...
I love just knowing they're there and all just doing their thing...

I love how when they do that extra loud wheek their little mouths open wide too
I love that if you sit up and talk to them, they'll come over and really listen and sometimes talk back too
I love how they can go totally asleep on you and stick their little back legs out
I love the little purr they make when they're totally relaxed
I love how excited they get about fresh hay and veg
I love them - how affectionate they can be and loving too.

x) x) :) Ah piggies. Where would we be without them!
 
Ooh I have some others-

- when they eat parsley starting with the stalk, and it twirls around in their mouth with the leaves sticking out :<> always makes me laugh

- when you feed grapes/tomatoes/strawberrys etc. to a pig with a white chest, and you end up with a vampire pig lol

- when baxter rumblestruts at ruby and rests his chin on the top of her head!

I love

-When I wake up in the morning the second the hear me walking the wheeking starts and doesnt stop until i sing the "spider pig" song to them
-When little Rajah puts his little front legs up on the grids and wheeks whenever i enter the room
-when i give Blade his monthly haircut that he grumbles at me its quite cute!
-when the pigs hear the knife being sharpened they wheek as they know its food time
-having cuddles with Ralph-Saffron as he is such a cuddle pie
-how devoted they are to me and prefer to cuddle with me rather than anyone else
-just there general characters;)
 
I love everything but most of all :-

the way their ears flap up and down when they wheek :)),
the fact that they dont answer me back,
they love me no matter how grumpy I am,
the way they all hang out of their cages in the morning for a kiss before breakfast - have occasionally been in danger of losing my nose rolleyes,
the way Sid falls out into the veggie bowl when he's trying to get the very best bit,
watching sleeping piggies,
tickling Cecil under his chin,

and the smell of them, cuddling them, kissing them - could go on forever ............x)

I love everything but especially
- the way they look at me in the morning for their food
- the way Marty purrs and sways when you tickle his ribs
- the way Barbra hogs the cat bed and pushes the cat out
- the way Caramel will hide under my robe and go to sleep
- the way Caramel tap dances on you to say put me down I need to wee!
- the way the smell
- the way they look
- the very different personalities
- the way the foster pigs change with time and patience
- I could go on and on but really have to get back to work rolleyes

sorry forgot the most important - the piggie kisses and piggie lips and piggie toes.....
 
I love...
-The way my girls play together
- The way they cuddle into my neck
- How they squeak for each other when they are separated
I just love everything about there personalities :) They are my first piggies ever so will always be special to me :)
 
I love the fact that they're so clever that they know the sound of the click of the washing machine door and jangle of back door keys means grass!
PIGGY LIPS!
When they're sitting on your lap, yawn, flop and sleep!
Popcorning so much that the hutch shakes!
That Spike has to lick every single finger on my hand at least twice!
Spagetti hay! Recreating the lady and the tramp kiss!

Too many things to list them all!
 
Oh! So much to choose from!

I love how they decide to run around and popcorn all over the place when I'm trying to sleep! :(|)
I love how they get in my way when I'm trying to give them fresh hay.
I love the cheekiness! When they overturn pigloo's and food bowls.
And don't forget the way they wheek when they know you have food!

There's so much more! I just love them, love them, love them!
