I store the piggies dried food in a plastic toy bin with a lid on it which is fine for a 4kg bag. But I want to buy sacks of food instead but I want a storage bin of some sort to put the sack inside it. I dont want the food attracting mice or rats into the shed.
So open to Ideas would prefer square shape and cheap as chips. :)

My mate keeps all her animal feeds in metal dust bins in her garage and she does not have a problem with rats or mice.

I keep all my animal feeds in plastic bins and i have done for about 10 years with no problems other than the goats breaking in from time to time ::)

I keep mine in Storage boxes with lids as long as there is no holes in them they are fine. I got mine from Poundstretcher for about £5 and they hold a whole 15/20kg sack O0

All of our stuff - hay, dried food, even the newspapers I use for lining the bedding area are in a dustbin with a lid in the garden. Never had a problem yet O0

i had a problem with something living in my shed and chewing at my food bags, so i invested in a metal bin for their dry food which holds about 5 kg of food (i buy in bulk) and leave the other half tied up inside a bin bag, in the bag it was delivered in and i havent had any problem with little rodents creeping into my shed now :)

I have never had a problem with mice or rats but next door told me about a women over the road has an on going infestation. I just need a bigger bin and want a square to save on space will try poundstretcher. Thankyou if anyone has any picture that would be ace. :)
