A cosie raffle?

To raise money for a Piggie Rescue?

I was thinking (with some insperation from some members on here :)) ) of making a batch of six or more cosies/piggie plonks up for the end of June/ beginning of July and starting a thread were people could put their names down for 50p/£1 a ticket and have a photo thread with Harvey and Artie pulling out the winning tickets from a hat? (with mummys help of course.)

At the end the pennies could be collected and donated to the resuce and i could send off the winning coises in the post? Though i think i would have to ask for a small contribution towards P+P :) What do you think? :)

Just wondered if anyone would be intrested or not...:))

Thank you! Will get ordering some materiel for July :))

It's a great idea, I can make a fish bed for you to raffle if you want? its not perfect yet but my first attempt wasn't bad so shouldn't be too hard and my pig's have been fighting over it lol

No i'd be happy to, glad you like it i am just perfecting it but it is quite easy to make really, that was just first go an i should of put extra fin's on it and i had to use scrap's of wadding and fleece and i put the top fin on the wrong way lol trust my OH to notice. I'm not sure if i used all thick wadding would it stand up on it's own or would it be better to have it slightly hanging. does your pyramid bed stand up well? July is plenty of time it should be ready before that.

I can't sew at all so cant offer a cossie but would deffo get some tickets what a great idea

Ooh great idea Laura! Count me in to buy lots of tickets hee hee!

THANK YOU for all your support my lovelies! xoxo :))

oOOoo! Thank you! that'd be fantastic! :))

I do love your fish x) its adorable. :)) thank you again!

I use thinner wadding (6oz) for my pyramid bed sides as the thicker stuff doesnt seem to stand up too well after washing. :{ I'm going to be messing around with boning this summer for my rocketship, as after i washed that it just wouldnt stand straight again ugh. So I'm going try some corset boning and see if that works :)
