Just purchased two of the hamster/piggy indoor playpens with 8 panels each. (Thanks to Cobwebandpigpig for the idea) :D Just wondering what to use to give them water in? 98) The panels are made of very thin wire and will not support a water bottle plus water. So guess my question is what type of bowl will be suitable and not spill when they stand on it ::)
The boys were in it today and just wandered around and huddled together for ages :-\ Will they eventually play/popcorn and enjoy their freedom? :'(

Hiya! :D

I'm able to use a water bottle with mine - I have to fit it 'backwards' though - with the bottle inside the cage. I have the rabbit bottles with the wire holder.

Dunno if this helps? ?

Ohhhh never thought of that! :D Can you post a pigture of it for me? O0
Do Cobweb and Pigpig run about in yours, or do they just find a spot and huddle up 98)

Here we go! ;D

They wander about, wouldn't call it running, but they don't stay still either - I put lots of toys and hidey holes in it for them!

Great thanks for that, will give it a try tomorrow. I was frightened that it would topple over with the bottle on it!
Btw where abouts in Fife are you, I am in Edinburgh South.

That's a good question..I wonder how to give water for floor time? I have John Anderson in the hall just now but can't think how to give him water (not that he drinks much anyways)
If i gave him some in a bowl he'd probably tip it over knowing him ::)

It won't topple over if you have it on the inside, honest!

I'm on the east coast, just up from Kirkcaldy (where I was born). My husband hails from Dalkeith! ;D

Thats exactly what my boys did today with their water, I gave up in the end and put them back in their cage. They seemed happier back in there :'(
