Well I did have carpet... but the pigs eat it, which just isn't good for them, so I tried making a tunnel out placemats we eat this too so now I am stumped suggestions please?! Needs to be eatable or taste terrible!

When I had one I used fleece on it attached with sticky backed velcro. Seemed to work fine.

Thinks I found a solution I folded the fleec loads and put it over now it covers the ramp and acts as a hide :o

Now Are they going to start eating fleece rolleyes.

I use cheap thin washed doormats from Tesco, which I change occasionally when they get absolutely disgusting; but they give a good grip on my long ramp and are not getting nibbled on (my guess, it's plastic like fleece). I stick them on with double sided sticky tape, as it is very difficult for me to get to the ramp on a daily basis, so I do not wash the ramp fabric.

Velcroing on fleece or that washed doormat fabric would be a good alternative - that way, it can be washed and changed regularly.
