What does a long, high pitched squeak mean?

I am very sorry, but without any background and situational context I cannot even start to guess.
 
I cant answer for sure. But my sow does it if shes at the end of her patience waiting for veg, or her cage mate Bernie has annoyed her too much
 
Some of my piggies do this when the more dominant ones corner them. It’s a submissive squeak then. Could that be what is happening?
