Just a silly question but I am curious. One of my pairs of piggies consists of an adult male and a baby. Ringo (the baby) loves to do laps, he runs out the cage and round the dining room then jumps back in the cage. I love it when they're young and have all this energy! Dougal often gets crashed into, or he will just sit on his shelf watching Ringo with the funniest look on his face xx>>> do you think he knows Ringo is just playing? Or is he puzzled as to what he is doing? Because he certainly looks baffled at times!

6 piggies and 2 ratties, and counting!

Don't you just love to see the little ones racing about drool
Maybe Dougal is just remembering the days when he could do it :) - my adult piggies rarely break into more than a meander now, the Himi girls don't have the zoomies as much as they're older and bigger. I could set my clock by them for 5pm every evening and guarantee they would chase each other around playing. I loved to watch them but now all the piggies occasionally have a little popcorn but nothing like the way they used to.
The herd of girls probably do it the most as one will set the others off so seeing six of them bouncing around is hilarious :(|)
Ringo is obviously having a lot of fun and showing off to Dougal...enjoy :))

My oldest girl Sookie does this, when her daughter Sherbert and my baby (not really a baby anymore) Rio go running laps together, Sookie just sits there looking at them like "why do I have to put up with such lunatics?" rolleyes They'll sometimes crash into her or try and popcorn with her but she's not having any of it :))

So funny! We have two that are different in age as well- we got Sundae when Linney was about two, so Sundae was very much a frisky baby and Linney was an adult and a lot more sedate. Linney used to have the exact same look when Sundae would be running laps around the room. Sometimes she would join in for a bit, but would run out of steam and just sit there looking puzzled while Sundae went tearing by like she was wondering what she was up to!

I can't wait to see mine move! We've only had the girls for almost 3 weeks and they'll sit on us for ages without trying to get away but when they are in their cage they spend just about the whole time hidden away, when I put veg in they'll dash out eat a bit and dash in again. I know they do come out as there's poo everywhere in the morning but they don't seem relaxed enough to play in front of us.

Also they haven't made any noises yet, maybe I'll regret saying it at some point but right now I can't wait until they run about wheeking madly!
