Well i just got my guinea pig and when i scratch her back she makes a gurgle noise.what does that mean?

Sometimes if they purrrrrrrrr it can mean sexual excitement, this usually comes with wiggling of the bottom and mounting of other guineas, or happy which is just the purrrr noise.

One of mine does that the second I touch her back and then she stretches herself right out so I can give her back a right good rub - its very cute! :smitten:

Bella makes a noise when we stroke her but its not like purring, its kind of a moaning noise? We assume she doesn't like it but maybe we're wrong?
