So today i decided to clean out my boys cage i've had them since saturday afternoon but they had made a total mess and decided it'd be best to do a full clean. I put them in a box with some hay while i cleaned and once i'd done i put them back in the cage. I'm a little worried because i put Bruce in first and once i'd put him down he jumped and did a little twitching motion, what is this is it a good thing or bad thing? Because after i put Joey in he was following Joey everywhere like right behind him they just kept walking all around the cage like follow the leader. I'm just concerned cos i'm worried if i hurt him or made him jump or something :(. He's happily wheeking away now though cos i've gave them some veggies. Can anyone help me with this i just want to put my mind at rest.

The twitching sounds like pop corning which is a really good sign, it means they are happy! Most pigs will popcorn when put in a fresh clean cage.

:)) This is what is known as 'popcorning' and means the piggies are very happy ;)
First time I saw it, I thought the piggy was having a fit and panicked mallethead
It's lovely to watch them do this so enjoy seeing your ecstatic furry friends :(|)

I've never heard of pop corning before, i'll youtube it and see if there's any video's i can compare what he did too. Thank you :) it's just they are both so small i'm very wary i'll hurt them. I try to be very gentle but they are both quite wriggly as to be expected as i've only had them since saturday.

I was honestly terrified i wasn't sure if i'd hurt him or if i'd scared him or something. Hearing that its something they do when they're happy is very reassuring. :)

Sounds very much liek a popcorn and it means a very happy piggy. Mine all Pop when they have a clean cage, or thye get vegetables or enjoying a good old piggie game together

Sounds like popcorning to me too.
Mine do it every time they have a fresh, clean cage.
It's so cute when they really get going and bounce! :))

Its the first time i've ever heard/seen popcorning before so i started to panic but i'm just so glad that my boys are happy :<>

my little one nipper keeps doing it and ends up kicking cuddles in the face! i thought he was hurt too when i first saw it but now i know its popcorning i can relax lol.

i was exactly the same as you though hahaha:))

I was really scared at first but now i see both of them doing it, it was only Bruce at first but Joey joins in now haha. I find it so cute now i know they're not hurt and that they're just really happy! I love my little piggies x)
