you know when they are sitting happily on your lap and you smooth them down mine do this noise which sounds like rumbling but its in shorter bursts, kind of broken up rumbling... is this mmmmm thanks mummy or flip off silly person??

;D My tucker makes this noise when he doesn't like something usually when I rub him the oppersite way in which his hair falls. I think it's funny tho he stops it after awhile like if I'm checking his fur for mites are owt he gets use to it. :)

Oh right ;D

I don't think tucker likes me going to near his bottom end so may that as well lol.

Is it more like a purr than a rumble, Honkey does both and the purr makes us think he likes it and a rumble we think means he does not like it.

I think my two do something like that when I'm stroking them, especially near their rear ends...I thinkits an annoyed noise but not very sure sorry :embarassed:

Ours 'brrr' and vibrate in short bursts when they hear noises they don't like, llike the doorbell, the phone, keys jangling etc

Mine don't rumble, they must lurve me! ;D

They used to though when I first got them and maybe it was because they were young, Fleur went through such a rumbling stage I thought she would bite me, she is ok now though! ;D

I don't think I've ever heard mine rumbling so not quite sure what to look out for there - but my 2 do a purring type noise when I'm doing something they like - like rubbing under their chin. :smitten:
