That your pig likes lettuce? Lol

I dont see anything wrong if thats what you mean. Are you concerned with something?

She took a sizeable portion of lettuce leaf into her mouth but it came out again. She's also not eating "with gusto" and her head is down.

That looks, from my own personal experience, like Liqourice has tooth problems (most likely a spur on her molars starting to trap her tongue)

She's not as bad as some I;ve seen - but, given her history on your other threads, please see if you can get help to get her to see Simon in Northampton before it gets any worse.

In the mean time - hand-feeding small strips of lettuce/cucumber/carrot/spinach/grass can help keep her food intake up (as can syringe feeding)

Hope this helps

It was a very funny shaped piece of lettuce (romaine lettuce split in half) and she was juggling it to keep it in her mouth( I sit watching them eat and it amazes me how they can keep such a large leaf of lettuce in their mouth without dropping it), she has no sharp points/spurs on her teeth, that was confirmed on friday. Believe it or not, but she's actually eating better, as before she would have left the stalk and eaten the green parts.
The next step in her recovery is in the pipeline :)

Hi Bon Bon

I'm so pleased to hear her teeth have been given the all-clear.

I have been following your threads with interest (and trying to help where I can) and I hope you will feel able share your experience as I think it could be very valuable to all forum members including myself.

I would therefore find it helpful if you would let me know (PM if it suits) what answer(s) you were perhaps expecting to your question ref the video today and what plans you have already made for the "next stage" in Liquorice's recovery as clearly I've missed something along the way. (Serves me right for not paying full attention malletheadmallethead).

I'm really pleased to hear that Liquorice is showing improvement as you have both been through the proverbial mill these last few months and I've been a bit concerned for you both.

Well when i look to me it looks like Liquorice is struggling to eat the lettuce?
I know how they juggle bits of food, but she drops it out......
Maybe she's got a little ulcer ? this can make them struggle with their food...... ?

Poor Liquorice, please give her lots of little loves from the girls and I XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
