What does this sound mean?

Basil makes this sound a lot, usually when he is resting. I was wondering what it means. It's sort of like a whimper. I managed to get this wee clip.

Hmmm I'm not sure, I know Harvey makes a 'squeeky' noise when he's mooching about like he's a wind up toy But I'm not sure maybe he likes the sound of his own voice? Comforting? :S

My guinea pig sometimes makes that noise, because his cage is in our kitchen I sometimes wash the plates quite late at night, and when I do he makes that kind of noise, I think its his way of sayin 'I'm tryin to sleep so be quite and leave me alone', maybe yours is sayin that to his friend?

hmmm silllllly! If you knew guineapiglanguage you would know he is saying 'what is that slave doing with that thing pointing at us' and just for the record...Snowball doesnt know that answer!
