I was just wondering what other owners find that their piggies can't live without food wise... mine love all the peppers but also kale which I have to restrict but find it hard as they love it so much
Just thought there maybe something that we haven't tried that others love too as I find it hard to give variety while keeping the more high calcium restricted down and not wasting all that I've bought

Carrot (in small quantities as it's high in sugar), red pepper and baby sweet corn are all the things my piggies go absolutely wild for. Coriander comes next, and then romaine lettuce and cucumber. Most veggies are well received.

Anything dark green. Cabbage, spinnage, green beans, cucumber, broccoli, etc. Followed by Apple, corn on the cob, peppers (red), cauliflower.

I restrict all veg and fruit

Wheat grass is a definite favourite. Followed closely by chickweed.
They also love carrots which they only get occasionally, yellow pepper and green beans.

Nutmeg and Saffron love pea's (in the pods).
They all love their once a week treat of mixed leaf salad (premixed in a bag) I just have to rustle the bag and they know its that.

I haven't tried wheat grass or chickweed..where do you get them from?

so far I've tried carrot, kale, spinach, peppers, broccoli, courgette and parsley. The only thing that was ever left was half a piece of courgette, so I don't think either are too fussy. Caramac turned her nose up at parsley once or twice, but does seem to eat it if it's there.

My boys can't live without romaine lettuce. They just can't get enough of it! It's gone in seconds when I place it in the cage for them!
