I just have the one guinea-pig now, Peggy. I feed her a mixture of veg in the morning, she has hay all the time and in the evening I feed her a handful of burgess excel. Are there any better dry foods? She's 3/4 I think and no health problems I just want to keep her in the best health possible.

I feed burgess too with mint and I was recommended that food :) it aids digestion .
Sounds like Peggy has a great diet ! I'd love to see photos !

Aww, beautiful piggy? Boy or girl? I keep telling myself that I'm not getting any more small pets because in the next few years I want to move and hopefully get a dog but I really want more rabbits and piggies. Strangely though Peggy seems quite happy alone, she lived with another girl but I don't think they liked each other much, they didn't fight they just ignored each other

He's a boy called Goliath , I know what yoh mean , my boys occasionally snug but they pretty much ignore eachother and bumble around :)

I feed choc by Jess XL meant pellets
It's the best diet I can find without importing some food from abroad to the UK
Choc has had dandelion and marigold hair hey by Burgess in his house and natures touch wild mountain hey also in his house
I think it's important to give pigs are very grass diet as well as veggies and pellets
Although he has different textures it smells different and as a blind person I know how important it is to give a pig that type of sensory input because I need it myself
That is why he has a minimum of three different grasses that he can have on rotation so he has a decent stimulus resume as well as enjoying the grass
I think that is very important for him to have that type of stimulation when he eats
