I didn't vote as I tend to use several different types.
I get large bales of regular meadow hay for hay trays so they can burrow and play in it. I throw a lot of this away as it also gets peed on.
I then usually have 1 - 2 small bags of 'fancier' hay, which I fill their hay bags with.
This is often hay from local mountains or farms, and varies a lot according to the season etc.
I mainly use meadow, it goes down as both bedding and food, then a few times a week they get a handful each of orchard grass, green cereal grass hay, polish hay (not sure what that is exactly..but thats what the bag says ) small amounts of timothy here and there if I find some nice stuff, me and Bramble are pretty allergic to it though so that's used sparingly!
We use a good meadow hay (currently from dust free hay as our local supply is rubbish ) Orchard Grass and Timothy hay so three different types of hay on the go.
