What horrible 'cages'!

looks like they have wire bottoms :(

Those cages look absolutely awful! :(
What a terrible life piggies must have living in one of those. No bedroom to retire to and no freedom to play!
And if they are just breeding cages ... well! No comment!

this is why britain needs tighter laws so not just anyone can breed. Disgusting.

:( its totally depressing. I almost feel like buying them, to take them out of circulation. I would hate it to give someone the idea of breeding their pigs, and besides they would make perfect storage for all the pet stuff we accumlate!

I also hate that the piggy might have to walk on the grid all the time just so its poo and wee goes through to the bottom ... for easing cleaning.
But not, unfortunately, for the comfort of the piggy and its feet! >:(
The size of each accommodation is terrible!

They look like veterinary cages too me or those ones used by racing pigeons, definalty not suitable for a permanant piggy house :-\

Personally i couldn't see any wire bottoms, (maybe eyes need checking again :D)

BUT my vet uses these sort of cages for rabbits and guineas, it maybe something as honest as that,

and i would hate to see any guinea kept in those conditions on a regular basis

I agree with piggybaker, I have seen these in vets and also some pet shops in the past. They generally have solid bottoms with a slide out tray. I guess for these purposes they are easier to keep clean/disinfect, but certainly NOT something you would want to keep piggies in long term.

i dont think i hav seen these before they are horrid i didint think that these were used for breeding poor piggies

They're nasty cages :'(

I think I can see wire on the bottoms too :'(

Poor little things.

How disgusting! They definately do have wire bottoms and the three sides are solid giving no visibility. Heartbreaking, I'd like to take anyone using these and lay them in a coffin for a week its the closest comparison i can think of.
