image.webp image.webp image.webp I have a pig who is about 3 months old and he is a sweet baby boy. I know he is still growing but he weighs about 1.6 pounds which is 725.75 grams. Is this normal? He gained about 0.2 pounds after a week or two. Is he obese? What should I feed him and how much? He rarely excercises even though I give him plenty of floor time. His pellets are Tropical Carnival Gourmet Food. Available fresh veg that a I have are squash, zucchini, banana, apples, bell peppers, cucumbers, grapes, peas, and Bibb lettuce. He has a cage mate so how much should I feed them and what should I feed them out of that veg list? The pics above are of the pig that I am worried about in all of his fat glory... keep in mind this is during floor time. He is extremely lazy.

Not sure about most of those questions, but I think I can answer one.

Assuming during that week (the week he gained 0.2 grams) he gained about 12 grams a day, that is normal weight gain. You should only be concerned if he gains about 60 grams in one day, if I remember correctly.

He is a bit light for a male guinea pig, but that may be because he is young.

Ok thank you. If he is under weight then my other definitely is because he is older and us almost 2 times smaller
