So, the shop we get our hay from is called the Range and they've stopped stocking our usual hay(meadow hay) so I was wondering what other brands of hay are good. Which do your piggies enjoy?

I used to get Hay from the Range. I quite liked it. I now get my hay from HayforPets online. It works out slightly more expensive than the bags I used to get from the Range but it's the next cheapest I could find and it is absolutely excellent. Better quality than the Range. They sell 3 types. All are fine but I prefer the Ings.

Delivery is free. I buy the largest size bag which costs £16 (for 9kg if I remember right) it's a huge bag. You will not look back if you go for it.

I have hay from The Range at times - how disappointing that they have changed suppliers.

I buy my Timothy hay from www.timothyhay.co.uk - it's lovely stuff for eating but a bit coarse for bedding

I alternate deliveries for my other hays from hay for pets, dust free hay and the hay experts

I heard Timothy hay is one of the best brands of hay there is. I don't use hay for bedding as it's such a waste.

Oh, but guinea pigs love rummaging in hay . It's not the best thing to use as bedding as their wee doesn't wick away - but I love to put some soft hay loose for them to rummage in. Only soft hay - I don't want any eye pokes .

I would put any coarser hay in something like a slit toilet roll .

I have always found Burns Welsh meadow hay to be beautifully soft, appetising fragrance and never refused by any of my foster pigs, however fussy they are! My local Farm and Pet sell it at £2.99 per KG, but it is available online, not cheap but never wasted in this house. I feed Excel forage(contains Timothy Hay) also a couple of times a week so that they have a variety.

I use Natures best devonshire meadow hay. You can buy 5 bags from pet supermarket for £12.08.It is green, soft and sweet smelling! 10 out of 10!

Sometimes I use hay, if I don't have saw dust, my guineas aren't that keen on hay for their bedding.

Hi do you know where to get this online please? I'd be interested in having a look.
