What is this above my guinea pig’s nose?

I have had my guinea pig for a week and noticed a bare patch above his nose. Anyone know what this is?

It looks like it could be either a fungal skin infection or mites. You should see a vet to be sure which one and get appropriate treatment. Hope it's a quick fix for you!
 
Agree with Freela, also if you purchased him from a pet store you should be able to claim back the costs of the vets visit and treatment from them
