I'm going to have to say my favourite time is pepper cuddle time! My two boys are not the cuddliest, but by saving their favourite veggies for cuddle time I can bribe them to enjoy some lap time. This is usually around 4 pm - or pepper o'clock to the boys

everything... but when they get excited to see me in the morning, when they wheek for breakfast, when they are excited after i've cleaned/tidied their cage and changed the litter tray, and at tea time i say ''i think it might be tea time'' in a silly voice and they run over squeaking .. lol love it. :)

Vitamin time, is supposed to be after their nighty veg but they all stop eating halfway through and come and ask for their digestive vitamin, which includes climbing up our legs, shouting, bar chewing, charging about like a nutter in excitement and for some hiding until they think it is safe to grab it. They all have their own little habits. Katie climbs up our legs and sits on our feet and bounces up and down. She is so tiny though that her paws really tickle.

When they hear me coming downstairs in the morning they start to wheek, they sit where their nugget bowls go, I put the empty bowls into position and they look at me and down at the bowls. As I put the cup with the nuggets through the door they wiggle with excitement and help the nuggets into the bowls. It's the only time Peanut doesn't run and hide when I approach the cage, they look so sweet.

I love getting home from work and going upstairs to my room where Fred and George live. A quick "hello boys!" and they both come running out wheeking (and sitting with their front feet on their bowl). The same when I open the back door to go out to the shed. Usually Dotty starts off but by the time I get there it's a full cacophony. The thing that makes it great is they don't do it when anyone else goes outside :luv:

1st thing in the morning always makes me laugh. They hear me coming and start shouting, I imagine them with little tin cups in their paws banging on the bars waiting for slops like prisoners did hundreds of years ago lol. Then it gets less and less as each 1 gets their brekkie until the last 1 is fed and then its silence all but the cute little nibbling noises lol.

I love watching Toffee & Poppy chasing about & exploring anything different that's been left on the floor (usually my son's toys!) When we put the tree up at the weekend they were knocking the baubles on the lower branches to make them swing! I should've recorded that, shouldn't I ?!

Awwwwww that would have been so cute!

Morning too and yes feed time! Once they have screamed at me and I have collected their bowls etc I go inside and from the window can see the fun! Patches ruing and popcorning upstairs and nibbles doing the same down stairs! So funny to watch that anyone home comes to watch the fun!

Hmmm.... morning time when they get all excited because the hay bag comes out. Evening when they get to run around and have snacks (I think this might be their favorite time!) And cuddle time, whenever that happens to be!

Hi Madd, you mentioning popcorning has just reminded me of something funny! I used to keep my 2 piggies upstairs in a bedroom of their own with the cage open, when I was getting their veg ready downstairs I could hear them chasing and jumping about above me, it sounded like a herd of elephants! the noise was unbelievable, so I'd sneek upstairs to try to see them having fun but they'd always stop before I open the door. They must have been able to hear me chopping up the veg and get over excited cos teas on its way!

That's so cute! Mine definitely know the sound of the vegetable crisper in the fridge, even though it's on a different floor. Whenever I'm making dinner and open the crisper, I can hear them wheeking from the floor below because they think it's for them! LOL!

Oh, and I also looooove the part of the day where I clean and rearrange the cage! Because the moment they go back in, they do zoomies and jump around! I love to watch them explore a clean, new cage :D

When ever the girls hear a bag rustle... And Cissy puts her nose through the cage and Bella hops excitedly/skittishly behind her waiting for some food! Close second is the funny wheek alarm that goes off for a second or two when you open the fridge! I wonder where that comes from...

So....even the sound of the fridge opening sets them of?! Lol

I don't think I've ever had guinea pigs that went off at the sound of the fridge! I have trained my guinea pigs that when I click my tongue, they get food! Its funny to see them pop out one by one when I click, and come running out :D

All, I love watching the guinea's in the living room where one of the two tiers is, such funny little boys.

My favourite part of the day is last thing at night when they have swept out cages and a pile of fresh hay each. I switch off the light in the piggie room and just stand a minute and listen and all I can smell is hay (and a little aroma de pig) and all I can hear is contented munching - I love it!
