So you know I have adopted the beautiful Pig-Pog, now she will live happy ever after with us, she is one more than I wanted and I have had to buy a new cage but I dread to think who may of took her on.
Yes I adopted her out of pity and she had already had a pooy start in life, I have got her looking beautiful.
I hardly rescued her I just gave her the care she needed, I did noting brave and I am sticking to adoption (got the paper work to prove it).
So people would you say she was adopted or rescued?

I have no idea - where did she come from? Was she badly treated before? Why did you take her?

If you took her from a shelter or someone who was mistreating her she was rescued, otherwise I would say adopted.

Doesn't really matter though does it? She has a caring new home, and that's all that will matter to her!

I agree lindsay, it doesnt really matter, the fact that you gave her a loving new home and a better start in life is a great thing to do :)

She was in the adoption part of P@H, she was matted and I had to point this out to the staff, they had just left her in the adoption centre with long toe nails and big knots of matted hair... Once I pointed this out they said they would do it, so I put my foot down and took her home and sorted her out that eveing in stages.
They said the previous owner said they could not keep her coz she was vicious and did not get on with other piggie, which is bull, she is far from viscous and she has had supervised play with my other 2 girlie's and she is so gentle and playfull.
I think it was more like due to the long hair they could not be bothered to groom her.
And I am fuming they way P@H allowed her to be in such condition.

In PigPogs case I say she was rescued.

Pudsey as you may know was also from Pets at home adoption centre. However I feel I did adopt him as the guy who was looking after him was so great, all the staff adored him. He had been with them for longer than usual and they had all falled for him. It was nice to see that he received proper care and was put in the adoption section because of his sensitive nose to woodshavings (he also gets red pads from shavings too) :'(

He's fine on fleece. :smitten:

you rescued her in my opinion - SUPPPPPPPPPPPERWOMANNNNNNNNNNNNNN LOL 0:)

I would say rescued O0 If she wasnt in a fit state then you took her out of a bad situation which is a rescue in my opinion O0 Some p@h stores dont mind having the rescues and look after them well, others are just doing their job and I guess the adoption corner is just another pain in the bum for them.

i bought munchkin from p@h but to me i rescued her cos she was on her last legs with mites and was seriously underweight and parched! i think its a definate rescue.... u saved pig-pog, no questions asked!

Well what ever she is, she is so lovely, I really do not understand why they said she vicious with other piggies.
