What kind of bedding should I use if I get a guinea pig?

I use hemp-core bedding for mine which is designed really for horses - I love it. I really don't like the idea of fleece and wood shavings can be very drying for feets and lungs

I use Carefresh bedding, because my flat isn't really set up to be using fleece (no tumble dryer). Far easier on the guinea pigs than wood shavings, far easier for me to clean out!

Thanks everyone for your input. I think i'm going to go with fleece with something under it to keep the cage from smelling bad.

I use a paper bedding (I'm allergic to wood and am afraid that constantly washing fleece would be too time consuming and would put strain on a washing machine that is already nearing the end of it's life- I want it to last as long as possible!) It isn't cheap but it's absorbent, doesn't smell, and I'm not allergic to it (I have serious allergies to wood chips.)

I use fleece. I have fleece, zorb, fleece for one liner and fleece mattress protector (two layers) fleece for the other one. I also use a lot of mini liners (more like mats) for high wee areas such as under beds, by water bowl/bottle, by feeding areas and under/inside hidies.

I also use vetbed and microfibre mats as mini pads.

They also have a 32 litre underbed storage box with hemparade bedding from zooplus and hay hay hay. The other end of the cage has a wicker tunnel stuffed with hay so that no one can be ousted from the hay supply!

Here is Jingle showing you some vet bed under a hiding place;

I use back 2 nature paper pellets. Woodshavings are evil imo, they got everywhere and made everyone sneeze lots and they werent even very good at absorbing wees or anything.
