what my piggy ate today....

i thought this would be a fun thread to tell everyone what out piggies have had for dinner and treats :)

today bailey has had, some celery and romaine letuce, some died food and hay :)
 
Today Cindy, Wilson and the bunnies had some lettuce, carrot and persley for the pigs :)
They also had their dry food :)
 
mine dont get fed until 9 pm, so i'll say what they had last night

Morgan Lois, Meeka, Dixie and my new girl who i havent yet named ate: cabbage, strawberries, carrot, brocolli, mangetout, babycorn, grapes and green pepper

Duke and Shakey: cabbage, carrot, strawberry, brocolli floret and stalk, green pepper, babycorn, asparagus

all have dried food, water and hay too :)
 
Mine have had topu up of hay and dry food too :) Get their veggies/fruit in the evening.

Last night they had (all 14):

broccoli, sprouts, carrots and top greens, cucumber and apple
 
So far, Fred & Barney have had dried food, hay, dried grass, celery, carrot, grapes, red pepper, raspberries, watercress and a floret of broccoli each. Tonight they will probably have some savoy cabbage, cucumber, cauliflower, basil and more hay and grass. I may pick them some dandelions if it stops snowing long enough!
 
wow! spoilt piggies! tonight is salad night for my rats so i will make up one for bailey, now that his poop is normal again. x
 
Erm today mine have had: pellets, hay, lettuce (not iceburg), cabbage, carrot, red pepper, green pepper, cucumber and tomato. ;)
 
Mine have had dry food, hay, celery, cucumber, carrots, apple and greens today.
 
I've got two pigs and one of them (Slinky) is really fussy and only eats sprouts, carrots and cabbage. The other one (Beano) is much more adventurous though and will eat nearly anything I put in front of him. And I mean anything - even my finger! ;D

I read somewhere that lettuce gives them diarrhea. Is this true?
 
Not sure, know that Iceberg isn't good for them, but I think the others in moderation are ok. Check out the "SHopping List" at the top of the forum. That's what I base my veggie's on!

My pigs have never had diarrhea from eating lettuce neither have I heard of any pigs having diarrhea as the result of eating lettuce. However I never feed them iceberg lettuce because it has too much water and no nutrition and I don't give them lettuce very often either :)

Same here :) Anything, but iceberg.

Only have lettuce when I want it anyway :)
 
well

holly and meggie had pear and cabbage

lilly amber poppy ruby had carrot cucmber and watercress and come cherry tomatoes (there jsut trying the tomatos first time i have given them)

aflie had broccli and cabbage

max and pear and spinached

all had dishs flillled up

today my gang had a tray filled with carrots, apple, swed and cucumber the boys go first and i hold the tray in front of the door and they get to pick the eg they want to eat whilst i put in the rest of their food, its interesting to see how there taste change one day to the next.
 
today bailey has had apple and kale, his dried food and hay and tonight he will get some cucumber carrot and lettuce :D
 
Today mine have had, nuggets, hay, water, cabbage, carrot and mange tout

Mine had their dry mix...
Carrots, lettuce, tomatoe and parsley ;D
Gone within 5 minutes ;D
