What quirks do your piggies have?

Pikachu 🌈 started to wheek as soon as he heard me or maleslave coming from the elevator. We could hear him through the door.

Bob 🌈 purred or rumbled every three seconds. Even in his sleep sometimes.

Chip 🌈 loved to sit on your shoulder and lick your nose. When he wanted to go home he took a nice bite from the same nose, leaving me bleeding a number of times.

Joe 🌈 knew the clock. He crawled out from his house, up to the bars and started. Like frozen. Pretty chilling stare, actually...

Kongo learned the clock from Joe. But he thinks its always food o'clock somewhere in the world and does practically attack you when you bring food. He goes nuts if he sees a syringe. He is a master-escaper - but only when his magic carpet (playpen) is out.

Djingis dont care about rules at all. He does whatever he wants to and cant be quiet about it. He loves to sneak into the kids room and hump his stuffed cat.
 
The Ever Beautiful Betsy would only allow me to stroke her left cheek just under the eye with the finger nail of my right hand. It was never the right eye. She loved being stroked down the back and loved her chinny rubs. She fell out with the comb and then the brush so I couldn't groom her but she would sit still for a hair cut where a comb was allowed which made no sense to me but hey ho that's guinea pigs for you!

Saffron waits under the ikea bed or the stool or even in the hay area until she hears Shimmer eating then she shoots out of hiding and grabs either Shimmer's food or something nearby. I always make sure to put at least two of everything down when I feed them!

Shimmer has learned to put her paws up and wait to be hand fed vegetables x

My boys associate the word "no" with begging.

So if you say no to one of them for whatever reason they both start biting the bars!
 
Kongo is a very sensitive and sweet gentleman. He knows I'm sad right now and comes to me with his nose in the air. When I come close he licks my nose. I want to think he wants so comfort me, but maybe he just wants food... But either way he really has a very sweet personality.

My darling Rosie is very in tune with my emotions, too! When I'm exhausted, she's kind and mellow. When I'm sad, she goes into goofball mode and makes me laugh.

How lucky we are to have these little creatures. So small, yet leave such big holes in our hearts when it's the end. I hope you feel better! I'm sure Djingis, wherever he is now, is a happy boy and glad he got to know a loving home :hug:

Our spud 🌈 used to go up on his back paws when begging and wiggle his front legs like he was peddling an invisible bike or climbing imaginary bars.

Gundham 🌈 was our adventure pig he would go from sitting calmly with us to leaping as far as he could in the blink of an eye. Gave us a scare a few times when we thought we'd dropped him and must have hurt him and he just trundled away like nothing happened.

Hugo loves to be up high he's always perched on top of a hide or on a bendy bridge I thought Guinea Pigs were supposed to be ground dwelling monsters but he seems to think he's a monkey.

Rufus can never decide what piece of veg is the best so he runs round taking a couple of nibbles out of each piece
