What should I do?

Since Sylvia has been left alone, I’ve been looking for a friend for her.
Unfortunately, all the guinea pigs within a reasonable distance from me are either males or bonded pairs. Same with the pigs being privately rehomed

So my question is, what do I do now? I don’t want to buy from petsmart because of where they source their piggies, but I don’t know what else to do at this point. Sylvia is super depressed and is only at 654 grams. I don’t want to leave her alone for much longer

Any advice is welcome, thank you

If there are any shelters/rescues near you email them and explain your situation. Often single piggies are not always advertised over here in the UK as they are waiting to pair them up

Thank you so much for replying.
Unfortunately I’ve already emailed all the shelters, in fact I’ve just come from one and they only have 2 females, which have to go together. I wish I was able to take both but I just don’t feel ready for a herd again
