On of my3 and a half year old guinea pig has just been put down because of a chest infection or tumour. I found out when I came home from school today and I cryed cryed and cryed. He was my first ever pet and I don't know what to do with the other one because he had only been gone away for a 3 hours so I dont think he knows yet. Help

Awww I am so sorry to hear about your piggy :(
I think you should take some time and give your remaining piggy a cuddle....he will be missing his friend...
Maybe he could go boar dating to find a new friend when the time feels right as they do like to have friends.
RIP little piggy
hugs
xx

Aw, so sorry this has happened :(
Lots of attention is needed for your remaining piggy as they grieve like we do. Is your piggy indoors where you can keep an eye on him ?
As someone else suggested, another piggy could be the answer as they love company of their own, dating at a rescue would be perfect so they chose their own little friend :)
Hope you're ok - keep us updated with things x>>

I am so sorry to hear that. How upsetting for you. Your piggy will need lots of love and cuddles from you. When you are ready your piggy will need a friend as guinea pigs get very lonely living alone. The best thing to do is to take your piggy to a local rescue where they can choose their own friend. This will mean less chance of falling out.

Thanks

Thanks for all of your advice. He is now ok and I have been to the RSPCA today and got him a rescue who is really friendly and am slowly Introducing each other and there are no sings of volence and the have been chatting away all day. Again thanks so much

Sorry to hear of your loss and glad to hear that you have found a friend for your remaining piggy. We'd love to see pigtures :))
