I'm going to Pets at Home to spend some Christmas money tommorow on some presents for the guinea-pigs. What things have your guinea-pigs liked? I'm thinking of getting a log tunnel (not sure of their name but the ones you can bend into different shapes) so that I can also use it as a ramp from Billy's cage to the run. What things from there have your guinea-pigs loved (if you shop there) I'd like to buy a cozie but they are quite expensive to buy so I think I'm going to make one myself.

I found those log tunnels the best thing. And the pigloos.

Most stuff looks nice, but frankly, piggies are just as happy with an old shoebox (with "door" cut in) on which they can chew on and which you can easily replace when it's ratty!

Ok thank you, I know what you mean about the shoe box thing, one of my guinea-pigs is in his run now with a box, a paper bag and a cardboard tunnel and he's running and jumping around all over the place :))

The one thing that I will get more of is cuddle cups - they are much beloved (and abused). You can always peg an old or cheap towel over them and turn them into a proper little nest... :))

Those cardboard rolls from p@h are not bad for a run. Piggies like to dash through a tight spot when they are popcorning!

My lot used to love chubes and go through the willow balls like they were going out of fashion.

Ok thank you everyone. I was just thinking and what are those things called, piggy plonks? Is that right? I can't remember the website address or the name of them but I'm thinking of getting one of them for Billy because the upper level in his cage is covered in vetbed and at the moment he doen't have anything on it. Do PAH still sell the Christmas pudding beds? I know it's after christmas but I really liked them and didn't manage to get one before Christmas? I had a look on the website but couldn't find any.

I've found the website and the thing I was thinking of was Crash pads not piggy plonks

My guineas loved the christmas dinne nibbles from p+h they were £2.00 something there probly cheaper now as sales r on.

Thank you everyone. I don't buy my guinea-pigs treats only because they don't eat them. I might get a crash pad and a pudding bed if I can get one.
