Well, I need to get my piggys a run/pen for indoor floortime but I was wondering what to get?

This, but it will only be good indoors:

And, this can be used outdoors, indoors and possibly for other unexpected pets in the future:

I was going to get the first option as I was going to have a wooden outdoor run aswell, but I don't really see the point as I'm going to have to supervise my piggies during outdoor run time anyway as there are just too many foxes to be worried about so I might aswell get something that is suitable for both?

What do you guys think? Thanks x

Have you not got a room that they could free range in supervised? Those playpens aren't that big to be honest and I know my pigs love nothing more than exploring. I'd save your money for a large outdoor run, there are quite a few on eBay.

I wouldn't be able to catch them. :(

Oh, I understand that. Mine are more than used to me but they can be to catch during free range time. I'd go with the second one, it looks more sturdy for outdoor use and you could always add more panels if it isn't quite big enough.

or even better just get one from 'pre-loved' they have brill stuff and a lot of it hardly used at all ! x

Lol. i tell mine to go into their box- its time for bed, when their outside in there run & they both trot in quite happily, also after indoor laptime & cuddles- boxtime is the girls favourite - its only an old box i made up years ago with offcuts of plywood, stained to make it weather/wee proof inside & out.
stays in their run so they can shelter from the weather when they are outside. only took all mine a few sessions to train them up to go in at boxtime. clever girlies! x)x)x)

might be worth trying an upturned cardboard box to get them used to the idea-they might get a whole floorspace to themselves then... Yee haaa:p
