I have got myself thoroughly confused! ::) :embarassed:

I am always looking around for new foods to try with mine, as they hate the good stuff like Cavy Cuisine (even as part of a mix). I tend to feed half pellets and half mix, as they seem ok with pellets as long as there is a bit of variety there too. Whilst I'm very clear on what fibre and protein content I need to feed my bunnies, I'm not so sure on pigs. Since all 3 of my pigs are still struggling through a persistent infection at the moment, it's even more important to me than ever to try to get it right. Vitamin c content isn't such an issue, as I'm supplementing that extra anyway.

Just make sure the mix has no colourants or other chemicals added. The protein lev el should not be more than 13%.As you say the vitimin c content does not matter because they should get this from fresh veggies.I use Chudley Rabbit Royale, which my piggies do very well on.

Oh right, thanks. :) 13% sounds much lower than most mixes. I'll look at the Chudleys, as I haven't come across that one yet.
