What size should run be?

Your run should be at least the same size as the minimum cage requirements, ideally bigger- that is a minimum of 8sqft (2ftx4ft) for 2 females or a female-neutered boar pair, or 10sqft for 2 males.

The only thing You ought to be careful with with apex runs like in the picture is the fact that they are side opening rather than top opening. You obviously know your piggies best but there is always a chance that while you are opening the door to catch them/put them in, they could get out the door and run away. For this reason, i prefer runs which are top opening
